All of our trailers are 100% built in New Zealand by NZ qualified engineers to NZ standards – so they are built to last. They are NOT imported. We go further and try to ensure that as many of our trailer components are locally sourced as possible. Buy local!
At Enclosed Trailers Ltd we specialise in custom built options so while we don’t have a standard price list we can give you an estimate based on YOUR budget and requirements. Feel free to contact us with your thoughts and we will work with you to make them happen.
Due to NZTA regulations all trailers must be under 2.55m in width and a maximum of 12.5m long – but you need to keep manoeuvrability in mind! The longer the trailer and the more weight inside the more axles that you are going to require. We also must balance the load of the trailer between the axles and the drawbar to maintain safe towing. Yes! Our premises are located in Tauriko, Tauranga and we would be happy to show you the quality and finish of our trailers. Workshop consultations require an appointment so please contact us make a time to view and talk over your options.

Yes we do or you can organise that yourself. When we fit appliances we ensure that they are installed securely and the trailer will still be balanced and tow nicely.
Of course! It’s your trailer and you are welcome to view the construction during the build to see the quality of our workmanship first hand. We also email pictures regularly during construction so that you can track progress.
Yes we can! We currently build in Tauranga only and this gives us access to the Port. Therefore, we can deliver all over the place! Contact us as we regularly make and deliver trailers to the South Island and the Pacific Islands.
At this stage we do not rent or lease as all of our units are custom built to suit our client’s budgets and needs.
